Hello, I’m Gibran Banhakeia, a dedicated Translator, Computational Linguist, and Website Developer with a passion for bridging linguistic gaps and facilitating effective communication across diverse cultures. With extensive expertise in Modern and North African languages, including Arabic, Berber, French, English, and Spanish, I bring a unique blend of translation proficiency and technological innovation to every project.

My Mission

My mission is to create connections and foster understanding through precise translation, advanced web development, and academic research. Currently completing a Ph.D. in North African Studies with a focus on "The Circulation of Berbers in Europe," I am committed to advancing knowledge and enhancing intercultural communication. My goal is to leverage my skills in translation and technology to deliver high-quality, impactful solutions that meet the needs of individuals and organizations worldwide.

Responsibilities: Translating and localizing USAID project content, managing tasks on Crowdin, ensuring quality and compliance, and providing cultural insights.

Responsibilities: Facilitating interaction with AI processes, testing, and debugging.


3. Smithsonian Institute and US Library of Congress

Responsibilities: Transcribing historical documents and artifacts, contributing to linguistic and stylistic research.


4. New York Circle for Translators (NYCT)

Role: Polyglot Translator
